Categories: All Events , Athletes , Race-specific , TRI
Cost Range:
$735.00 – $1,695.00
August 13 - 17, 2025
Fancy Gap, Virginia
Train for the Course Camp Series confirmed for 2025. Beginning in March, individual athletes, teams and clubs at all levels can come and train for specific races that are known for their challenging bike courses.
The Virginia Blue Ridge Mountains hilly and rolling terrain emulates many of these races in grade and elevation gain terrain often hard to find in many East Coast and Midwest suburban regions.
Experiences are all-inclusive, turn key with fully supported rides, and offer a variety of lodging options and great culinary experiences. For added flexibility, 3,4 and 5-day camp passes will be available to accommodate work-life-train commitments with rolling arrivals and departures. Pun intended.
Get off the trainer, and your saddle, in prep for your hardest races. Take this opportunity to build your confidence, meet and train with other athletes, and gain your competitive edge on race day.
About Our Hosts
We are excited to announce our Camp Guides for the August 13-17 Train for the Course camp at First Bourn in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. We are being joined by two long time endurance athletes and coaches with Biscay Coaching, Alyssa Godesky and Stephanie Granlund.
While this is not a sanctioned Biscay Coaching specific camp, we are grateful to have their knowledge and expertise as they lead the camp for athletes of all abilities – with a common goal of building strength and confidence in more challenging terrain. As guides, both Alyssa and Stephanie will be on site (and out training with to group) and help provide all the planning and support needed for the camp.
We are grateful for the expertise and partnership. Guide bio’s are below.

Alyssa Godesky
Alyssa has over 18 years experience as an endurance sports athlete, including a decade that she
spent racing as a professional triathlete, and has been coaching with Biscay Coaching since
2013. Alyssa has finished 37 iron-distance races, including two amateur finishes at the Ironman
World Championships in Kona, Hawaii and 7 top-five finishes while racing as a pro around the
world. Alyssa has completed over 50 marathons, ultramarathons and multi-day trail races, as
well as countless orienteering events, swim-runs, and Adventure Races. She also is the current
record holder for 3 major Fastest Known Times in the Northeast.
