Craig “Crowie” Alexander

Craig “Crowie” Alexander has been a professional triathlete for 25 years. He is a 5-time World Champion (3 at Ironman; 2 at Half-Ironman) and 12-time Australian Champion over multiple distances. Craig has won countless International events, including Foreign National Championships, Regional Championships, the “Big City Olympic Distance Triple Crown” of US Majors and the Lifetime Fitness Olympic Distance Triathlon in ‘05 (at the time, the highest prize purse in the history or triathlon).

Craig has received the following awards/accolades:

– 2009 Australian Sportsperson of the Year (joining Greg Welch as the only triathletes to win this award).
– Awarded an Order of Australia Medal OAM in 2015 for Services to Sport and the Community.
– 4 time Male Triathlete of the Year (Triathlete Magazine).
– 3 time Male Triathlete of the Year (Competitor Magazine).
– Triathlon Australia Performance/Athlete of the Year (2008, 2009 and 2011). - Voted “Triathlete of the Decade”.
– Ambassador for the Kids Foundation.
– Ambassador for the Make Bullying History Foundation.
– Ambassador for the Sydney to CAMberra fundraising ride.
– Ambassador for the St. George and Sutherland Medical Research Foundation.
– Ambassador for the Australian Emergency Services Games.
